AP Hogeschool

Completed in August 2024, the AP Hogeschool project features a cutting-edge laboratory facility equipped with high-tech labs, including wet chemistry, instrumentation, microbiology, physiochemistry, and kitchen & anthropometry. The facility includes:

  • 60 standard fume hoods
  • 6 waste extraction hoods
  • 5 specialized extraction hoods
  • a sensory booth for controlled analysis.

Seamless integration for maximum efficiency

Our team ensured smooth integration with the main building’s utilities, creating a fully functional and efficient workspace. By leveraging advanced BIM (Building Information Modeling), Revit, and AutoCad, we enhanced design, construction, and management, ensuring precision at every stage.

Located in the heart of Antwerp, AP Hogeschool is committed to excellence in education. This high-tech facility provides students and researchers with a modern, well-equipped space to drive innovation and discovery.

Cleanroom design challenges across industries

At Jansen Cleanrooms & Labs, we’ve spent more than 30 years designing and building controlled environments for pharma, biotech, microelectronics, and healthcare. Here’s what we’ve learned about the challenges that define each, and how to design for success from the start.

More than cleanrooms: an integrated ecosystem

The Einstein Telescope is next-generation underground gravitational-wave observatory that will allow scientists to look deeper into the universe than ever before. And Jansen Cleanrooms & Labs is already playing an active role.
