State-of-the-art operating theatres
Our team outfitted 29 fully equipped operating theatres, including walls, windows, and automatic hermetically sealing sliding doors, with and without lead protection. Additionally, we have created a sterile and highly efficient working environment in the hospital’s pharmacy and surgical departments, integrating 25 pass boxes along with the latest technologies and high-performance materials. Every aspect of the design adheres to the highest standards for hygiene, safety, and functionality, ensuring the best conditions for patient care.

This project
The Grand Hôpital de Charleroi is a state-of-the-art medical facility that consolidates five existing hospitals into one modern complex on the historic Viviers site, a former coal mine in northeast Charleroi. With 900 beds, it stands as one of Belgium’s largest hospitals, delivering top-tier healthcare services to the Charleroi community and its surrounding areas. Spanning 145.000 m² this hospital is the largest non-university medical center in Belgium, marking a significant milestone for the region.
