Kruibeke
Redwire Space
QinetiQ Space was renamed in 2023. Under the new name Redwire Space, this facility in Kruibeke develops and supplies complete satellites and important satellite equipment, including on-board computers, power control and distribution units and external terminal units.
In 2019, QinetiQ Space needed an ISO 7 cleanroom, office space and a storage area. Three years later, the demand for more cleanrooms (ISO8) came up again.
Jansen Cleanrooms & Labs were their permanent partner for each project.
In 2019, Jansen Cleanrooms & Labs took care of the design and construction of the entire site. Given the growing demand for even more cleanrooms, in 2022 Redwire Space and our strong people sat down together again. Together we looked for the most efficient solution to be able to meet their need on the existing site.
The next step? We designed and installed another cleanroom (ISO 8) in record time.

Cleanroom design challenges across industries
At Jansen Cleanrooms & Labs, we’ve spent more than 30 years designing and building controlled environments for pharma, biotech, microelectronics, and healthcare. Here’s what we’ve learned about the challenges that define each, and how to design for success from the start.
More than cleanrooms: an integrated ecosystem
The Einstein Telescope is next-generation underground gravitational-wave observatory that will allow scientists to look deeper into the universe than ever before. And Jansen Cleanrooms & Labs is already playing an active role.
